Thunder Valley is a AAA Four Diamond award-winning casino and resort located in Lincoln, California, 30 miles east of Sacramento. It is owned by the United Auburn Indian Community and was opened in June 2003. Thunder Valley was the first full Las Vegas-style casino in Northern California.
The 170,000 square foot casino floor has over 3,000 slot and video machines, 125 table games, and a live poker room with enough space for 160 players. The expansion completed in July 2010 included a 17-story, luxury hotel with 297 rooms and 40 suites. The pool has surrounding private cabanas and a poolside bar, Coconut. There are a total of 14 restaurants and bars.
As the property started to age, so did the prevalence of tobacco smoke and odor. Positive pressure from the Casino floor was pushing the smoke out into other non-smoking areas of the property, including the hotel lobby and several restaurants surrounding the casino floor. After several meetings with the engineering team at Thunder Valley, Casino Air was awarded the contract to remediate the problem. Once completed, the Casino Air installation will revitalize the casino floor. Tobacco smoke and odor will be remediated at the source and the Rooftop HVAC units will operate more efficiently, dramatically reducing energy costs. Clean Air is good business.
